Sharing a YouTube video on your favorite social network like Facebook, emailing to a friend or embedding to a website is easy. The screenshot example below shows a monetized YouTube.
Sharing is an important part of a website presence. Share this video, embed and email are located below the video, below the like and comment section and when sharing the video is enabled by the owner of the video.
2. First thing you want to do is open the share “folder” “link” “tab” to see your sharing choices. YouTube defaults to the About display so click the share to see the Sharing buttons and URL and email choices.
If you want to email it, click the email just above the social networks share buttons and a prompt will open for you to send the video by email.
3. Using Share Buttons: Click the icon of the social network you want to share the YouTube on. If you are not signed in to that particular social network, you will be asked to do so. Once signed in the YouTube video will post automatically to your status.
4. Using the URL: The URL link can be copied and pasted to your status in most social networks. Pasting the URL in status will automatically bring in an image. Tip: Once you pasted the URL to your status and it completes loading the info to your status, you will see it in a preview box, you can safely delete the pasted URL from your status and type in what you want to say about the video you are sharing before you click “share” or “post” or “update”.
5. Using Embed: When you click the Embed an iframe code will be displayed. Simply copy/paste the code to your website or blog.
